Reviewer Instructions.
Dear Referee,
Thank you for agreeing to referee a
paper for the INTERNATIONAL JOURNAL OF
TRANSDISCIPLINARY RESEARCH. Peer review is used to
ensure that good science is published. It is an
objective process and our reviewers play a vital role in
maintaining the high standards of IJTR. This is
an important role as you will provide critical and
constructive feedback on the work of your peers.
Initial manuscript evaluation
The Editors first evaluate all manuscripts. It is rare,
but entirely feasible for an exceptional manuscript to
be accepted at this stage. Those rejected at this stage
are either insufficiently original, have serious
scientific flaws, have poor grammar or English language,
or are outside the aims and scope of the journal. Those
that meet the minimum criteria are passed on to at least
2 experts for review.
Authors of manuscripts rejected at this stage will be
informed as soon as possible.
Type of Peer Review
IJTR employs double blind review, where the
reviewer remains anonymous throughout the process.
To referee papers, read the paper
and complete the
referee report form. Please provide critical and
constructive comments for the author, whether your
decision is to accept or to reject the paper for
publication. Upon completion of the review, please send
your comments to the editor.
Please do not hesitate to contact
me by email if you have any questions about the
refereeing process.
Sincerely,
John M. Polimeni
Editor-in-Chief
